Advertising and ranking disclosure

How rankings work
Default price rankings use the comparison inputs shown to the customer, including normalized unit price and known membership, delivery, minimum-order, or pickup costs. When drive time is included, the customer’s selected value and assumptions should be visible.
Advertisements
Paid placements are labeled “Advertisement” or “Sponsored.” They are visually separated from organic price rankings. An advertiser cannot secretly purchase the “Best Value” badge.
Affiliate compensation
BuyBrightly may earn a commission when a customer follows an eligible link or completes an eligible purchase. This does not increase the customer’s price unless clearly disclosed, and it does not change the underlying comparison calculation.
Retailer relationships
Displaying a retailer does not imply sponsorship or endorsement. Authorized partnerships will be identified. Product names, retailer names, and marks belong to their respective owners.
Data quality
Each production comparison should identify its source type and last-checked time. Estimated, stale, member-only, location-dependent, and sponsored information must be labeled. Sample data is never represented as a live offer.
